On Wednesday 4th October we were delighted to welcome the local author Kerry McIntosh to school.

Kerry read a chapter of her book "Rory Green: Secret Agent to The Queen" to us all in assembly this morning and talked about how she sometimes found school tricky and came to writing later in life.

Later, Kerry met with the class librarians to officially open our new school library. The librarians have all been given a copy of Kerry's book as a momento of the day.
